Elizabeth David, BSc, MD, FRCPC, ABR

Dr. David obtained her graduate degree from University of Toronto, Canada in 1997 and finished her vascular interventional fellowship in 2002 at the University of Toronto. Dr. David has multiple appointments. She is a Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute, a Vascular Interventional Radiologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. She is currently the site supervisor of  the Vascular and Interventional Fellowship at Sunnybrook.

Dr. David’s research is focused on women’s imaging and oncology. Presently she is involved in a focused ultrasound trial for fibroids using a phased array device. She is also involved in evaluating thermal ablative devices pertaining to ablation in liver, lung, kidney and bone. Future directions for research focus on oncology in the areas of ablation, TACE and palliation.
