Annals of Palliative Medicine (APM) will begin publishing monthly, starting January 2021

Published: 2020-11-13

Following APM’s launch in 2012, APM has grown from a quarterly journal to a bimonthly journal since September 2019. With the growing recognition of APM and our authors' continued support, APM submissions have continued to increase. As a high-quality academic exchange platform, we are committed to publishing articles quickly, allowing for impactful and potentially practice-changing articles to be available to readers as soon as possible after acceptance. Therefore, we are delighted to inform you that the APM will become a monthly publication beginning in January 2021. This shortened publication cycle will allow authors to get their work published faster and have their latest research available to clinicians in the palliative disciplines who could benefit from earlier dissemination of their findings.

APM is indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE, IF: 1.681), PubMed, and Scopus. We welcome all manuscript types, especially novel original research articles and high-impact reviews, focusing on palliative medicine across all multidisciplinary aspects, including oncology, psychology, surgery, nursing, public health, education, nutrition, sociology, ethics, and policy. Furthermore, the journal focuses on cutting-edge developments in the transition from preclinical to clinical research like multimodality therapy, diagnosis, markers, imaging, biology, pathology, prevention, and technical advances related to palliative medicine.
