The book, The Art and Science of Palliative Medicine, with Dr. Howard S. Smith and Dr. Julie G. Pilitsis as the co-editors and dozens of promising experts in palliative care, is now officially published with both hard-copy and e-copy available.

As the Editor-in-Chief of Annals of Palliative Medicine, Dr. Howard S. Smith had been dedicated to the palliative care in his whole career life. Since April 2012, Dr. Smith had been working on the preparation of a comprehensive book on palliative medicine as a valuable guidebook for both academic and clinical education.
The Editorial team of Annals of Palliative Medicine will attend ASCO in Chicago at June, ASTRO in Atlanta at September and AHA in Dallas at November in 2013.
